Company Overview: EO

EO Charging is a UK electric car charging station manufacturer. EO stands for ‘Electricity Online’. EO Charging was set up by Charlie Jardine in 2015, after having worked with another charging infrastructure manufacturer in the UK.  Charlie, identified an opportunity to create electric vehicle (EV) charging products that were better quality and more reliable than incumbent manufacturers in the market. With ‘simplicity and reliability’ as core themes in the concept DNA, Charlie has successfully navigated EO from an ‘idea’ to an established ‘EV charging manufacturer and smart software’ company.

Though EO manufacturers residential and commercial EV chargers, the company has a particular focus on developing charging solutions for EV fleet operators. Fleet customers include, Amazon and other leading fleet operators. The company provides a complete EV charging solution to include, hardware design, manufacturing, installation and hardware-agnostic charging management software and services.

For home EV charging, EO has three models, the EO Mini, the EO Mini Pro 2 and the EO Basic. We recommend the EO Mini Pro 2, given its higher level of technical specifications, to include solar compatibility. A better long-term investment compared to the EO Mini and EO Basic.

For business charging, the company offers both AC and DC EV chargers. For AC business charging, the flagship product is the EO Genius. For DC charging, the company provides turnkey solutions from 25 kW to 480 kW.

The company sells products in the UK and a number of international markets to include, Ireland, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. To date, the company has deployed over 50,000 EV chargers. The company has 130 employees and is in the process of listing on the U.S. NASDAQ stock exchange.
