The e-Golf, is Volkswagen’s second series-production electric car. It was first introduced in the UK, in 2014. It has come a long way since then. The latest The 2019 e-Golf is priced to compete with the Nissan Leaf and BMWi3. With a 144 miles tested WLTP range, the car works well for local and day trips. Based on a cost of 14p/kWh, it costs £5 to fully charge the e-Golf at home. The electric car costs 4p per mile versus 14p for the petrol equivalent.
